I love sharing what I learn with other as they usually share what they have learned. This movie was referred to me when I mentioned I watched Forks over Knives.
I am a gardener and I very much appreciate good quality soil. My city garden is on a base of clay and my country garden is a shallow layer of sandy loom on top of the Canadian Shield. Neither garden has perfect soil so I augment it with compost, trucked-in soil and peat moss so I have a better garden to grow plants in. This summer’s heat and dry weather was hard on both of my gardens but not nearly as hard as we are on the great land masses throughout the globe.
This documentary gives you some insights into the damage we are doing to the globe and provides some answers to how as an individual you can make a difference.
My library once again provided me with the DVD – check out your library to see if they have it too.
